Biblio Night Fever! Discover our Belgian beers, a shared heritage

A festive, tasty evening to BiblioJette

The French-speaking and Dutch-speaking libraries of Jette have decided to put beer in the spotlight to celebrate the 2024 edition of "Printemps des bibliothèques" in their own way. In collaboration with the Taymans brewery in Jette, they'll be introducing you to beer, and lambic in particular, through a lecture, a tasting and a selection of books. After the lecture/tasting, you can visit the brewery.
But what is this event all about? It's a different state of mind, a different way of experiencing your library. It's a moment of relaxation, conviviality and sharing.
Like Lire dans les parcs and Nuit des Bibliothèques, Printemps des bibliothèques is an initiative of the Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles. Initiated by the province of Hainaut, Printemps des Bibliothèques aims to encourage people to discover libraries in a different way, through a festive moment of sharing. Its evocative subtitle is "Biblio Night Fever".
The event will take place in all participating libraries in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation on Friday May 17, in the early evening or late afternoon. A total of 70 communes and 73 libraries in the Brussels-Capital Region, the province of Walloon Brabant, Liège and Namur are taking part in the 2024 event.
